Tannehill Masonic Lodge No. 52 Holds 169th Installation of Officers
On Saturday July 15, 2017 Tannehill Masonic Lodge Hosted their 169th Installation of officers. Dallas Commandery No. 6 conducted a Flag Ceremony and the newly elected officers were installed by Past Grand Master R.W. Elmer Murphey III. The Members of Tannehill Masonic Lodge are very proud of our newly elected officers and look forward to a great year of Masonry.
Brother Tim Burke was Installed as the 169th Master of Tannehill Masonic Lodge No. 52. Brother Burke is a native Texan and raised in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas. Tim graduated from Lake Highlands High School in 1992 and then moved to Denton, Texas. He attended the University of North Texas, where he focused his college education in the School of Business, receiving his Bachelor degree in Real Estate. While in college, he was active member and officer for both the Sigma Chi Fraternity and the International Business Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi.
Brother Burke joined Tannehill Masonic Lodge No. 52 in 2005. He was initiated as an Entered Apprentice on June 27, 2005, passed to the degree of Fellowcraft on September 20, 2005, and raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason on January 31, 2006. Tim is also a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason in the Valley of Dallas, and a member of Hella Shriners. He has served in Tannehill’s line of officers for many years holding several positions, and has a deep passion for Freemasonry and its beliefs. One of his principal goals for Tannehill Lodge No.52 and for Masonry in general is to promote the practice of Brotherhood
